What to Expect at Your Consultation

Color match consultations are required for all new extension clients.
Please allow 45–60 minutes for this appointment.

During this time we will discuss:

• Your desired look (length, density, etc.)

• Hair history, care routine & lifestyle

• Maintenance expectations

• My professional recommendations

• An approximate price range based on your needs

Consultation Fee: $40 (non-refundable)
Required to book. Not applied toward your service.

Extension guest deposit

If you choose to move forward:

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to:

  • Order your custom extension hair

  • Reserve your installation appointment

• Your deposit amount will vary depending on your desired look and will be applied to your install day total.

 

​Hair Care Kit Option

I offer an optional Extension Hair Care Kit to support your home routine and protect your investment.

• You may pay in full at your consultation

• If in stock, take it home same-day — or receive it at your install appointment

• Includes stylist-approved products & tool recommendations

"How much does it cost?"

A proper quote requires an in-person consultation — but here are typical price ranges for a first-time install including hair, prep, install, and styling:

• Density-focused installs: $500–$1,200

• Added length + density: $1,500–$3,000+

Pricing depends on the method chosen, number of wefts or bonds, hair length, and desired outcome. I’ll guide you through all options and quote you accordingly.

Method Breakdown

The Foundation Method

A tension-free, braided row extension method that:

• Protects scalp and hair health

• Allows for higher placement near the hairline

• Offers a seamless, customizable blend

• Uses wefts sewn onto a discreet braid

• Maintenance every 6-8 weeks 

• Ideal for clients seeking fullness, added length, or color customization with reusable hair

Individual Keratin Bonds​

Strand-by-strand extensions bonded to your natural hair using a small keratin attachment. Ultra-customizable and discreet.

Maintenance:

• Bonds are replaced every 8–12 weeks

• Each appointment includes full removal and fresh installation

Ideal for clients who want ultra-lightweight feel, no braids or wefts, and extremely natural movement

Care, Maintenance & Lifestyle

What’s the upkeep like?

• Shampooing and blow-drying will take more time — more hair = more care!

• You’ll be given a full care sheet and styling routine walkthrough at your install

• I also offer an Amazon shopping list with my go-to at-home items

Care factors that impact longevity:

• Heat styling frequency, Use of bioprogramming beauty devices is highly recommended. 

• Wash routine and care

• Proper detangling and brushing

• Using stylist-recommended products

"What does it feel like?"

Most clients experience a short adjustment period, especially if it you have never worn any type of extensions before — like learning new brushing and styling habits.
Both methods are lightweight and comfortable when installed correctly.

"Can I still color my hair?"

Of course! If you have a regular preferred colorist we can coordinate your tightens around your color appointments, or, if you are looking to have your hair colored with me during your tightening appointments I am a Redken Certified Colorist and would be happy to help you with your color as well.​

"Can I swim with extensions?"

Absolutely — you can enjoy the pool, lake, and ocean while wearing extensions!

That said, there are important steps and products I recommend to help protect your extension hair from the elements and minimize the risk of color or texture changes.

Personally, I chose not to fully submerge my extensions, simply to avoid overwashing and because I didn’t feel the strong desire to get my hair wet (even before extensions). However, it’s absolutely possible to swim with the right precautions in place!

Important: Be very mindful of the sunscreen you use around your extensions. 

• Chemical-based sunscreens, and even some mineral-based sunscreens, can cause irreversible color changes to extension hair.

• If sunscreen damages your extensions, it is very likely that new hair will be required, as the discoloration can be very difficult to correct.
